KeepSave ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the KeepSave mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").
By using KeepSave, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account information: Your email address and password (or third-party sign-in credentials) when you create an account.
- Deal and coupon data: Information extracted from emails or photos you provide, including retailer names, discount amounts, coupon codes, and expiration dates.
- Device information: Basic device identifiers and operating system information for app functionality and crash reporting.
- Usage data: How you interact with the app, such as features used and actions taken, to help us improve the Service.
2. Gmail and Google Account Data
KeepSave requests read-only access to your Gmail account solely to identify and extract deal-related information such as coupons, promo codes, and promotional offers from your emails.
What we access: We scan email subject lines and body content to identify promotional emails containing deals, discounts, or coupons.
What we do NOT do with your Gmail data:
- We do not store the full content of your emails.
- We do not read, store, or share personal emails, financial emails, or any non-promotional content.
- We do not sell, transfer, or share your Gmail data with any third parties for advertising or any other purpose.
- We do not use your Gmail data to serve advertisements.
- We do not allow humans to read your emails except when required by law, for security purposes, or with your explicit permission.
- We do not use Gmail data for any purpose other than providing the KeepSave deal-saving feature you requested.
Only the extracted deal information (retailer name, discount, expiry date, promo code) is stored in your KeepSave account. Raw email content is processed in memory and immediately discarded after extraction.
You can disconnect your Gmail account from KeepSave at any time through the app's Settings screen. Disconnecting will revoke our access and we will not scan any future emails.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the KeepSave Service.
- Extract and organize deals and coupons on your behalf.
- Send you notifications about expiring deals (if you have enabled notifications).
- Respond to your support requests and communications.
- Monitor and analyze usage to improve the app experience.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers: Trusted vendors who assist us in operating the app, under strict confidentiality agreements.
- Legal requirements: If required by law or in response to valid legal requests from public authorities.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate notice to you.
- With your consent: For any other purpose with your explicit consent.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information and saved deal data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through the Settings screen in the app or by contacting us directly.
7. Children's Privacy
KeepSave is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
8. Your Rights and Choices
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Revoke Gmail access at any time via app Settings or through your Google Account permissions.
- Opt out of non-essential communications.
9. Third-Party Services

- Apple Sign In / Google Sign In — for authentication
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
